    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control device for engine capable of performing an atmospheric pressure correction according to respective fuel injection quantity determination methods and precisely controlling air-fuel ratio. SOLUTION: In this operation control device 20 for a fuel injection type 4-cycle engine 3, a first fuel injection quantity is determined on the basis of intake negative pressure and engine speed in a first operation range where a throttle valve opening 19 is small, and a second fuel injection quantity is determined on the basis of the throttle valve opening 19 and engine speed in a second operation range where the throttle valve opening 19 is large. In the first operation range, the first fuel injection quantity is corrected by a first correcting means for correcting the influence on air density of the atmospheric pressure, and in the second operation range, the second fuel injection quantity is corrected by a second correcting means for correcting the influence on air density of the atmospheric pressure.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent misinformation of an alarm generated when a lubricating oil supplying condition is in an abnormal condition, in an engine wherein an oil pump is driven interlocking with a crankshaft. SOLUTION: In the engine 2, lubricating oil is supplied by the oil pump 28 driven interlocking with the crankshaft 3, an alarm signal is outputted to an alarm device 96 by a control device 91 when oil pressure of a feed flow path 77a of the oil pump is lower than alarm pressure K which is set beforehand. The control device is provided with means for nearly immediately outputting the alarm signal when engine rotating speed is higher than immediately alarming rotating speed which is set beforehand and in the case where the oil pressure lower than the alarm pressure, and means for outputting the alarm signal when a condition in which the oil pressure is lower than the alarm pressure is nearly held, while a judging time which is set beforehand, when the engine rotating speed is lower than the immediately alarming rotating speed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the smooth shifting operation by lowering the revolution when a throttle valve is full closed and the revolution is not less than the specified revolution after the specified laps of time. SOLUTION: A revolution control means 100 for lowering the revolution when a throttle valve is full closed and the revolution is not less than the specified revolution after the specified time passes is provided on an engine control unit 42 of an outboard motor. The revolution control means 100 lowers the revolution by full closing an idle air adjusting valve 62 provided on a bypass passage for communicating the upstream of the throttle value with the downstream of the throttle valve on the basis of revolution information from an engine speed sensor 43. Thereafter, even if the revolution becomes the specified revolution or more, either a forward bevel gear or a reverse bevel gear of a forward/reverse selecting device is connected to a propulsion shaft, or both of them are not connected to it, and the shifting operation can be smoothly performed. The revolution control means 100 controls an ignition device 101 to delay the ignition timing, the thinned-out ignition or the ignition of any one of cylinders are stopped to easily and reliably lower the revolution.
