CONSTITUTION:A polyolefin resin compsn. excellent in heat resistance is obtd. by mixing, e.g. on a roll mill, 100 pts.wt. polyolefinic resin (e.g. PE or PP) with 0.05-2.0 pts.wt. hindered amine stabilizer of formula I (wherein R is H or methyl; and R is a 1-20C alkylene), 0.05-2.0 pts.wt. hindered phenol-hindered amine stabilizer of formula II (wherein t-BU is tert-butyl; and R is methyl or tert-butyl), and 0.05-4.0 pts.wt. phosphorus antioxidant [e.g. tris(nonylphenyl) phosphite]. The compsn. may further contain an ultraviolet absorber (e.g. 2,4- dihydroxybenzophenone), a metal salt of a higher fatty acid (e.g. calcium stearate), etc.
