    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound control device that enables, when any installed pipe runs into trouble, an instrument which causes a pipe matching a pressed key to generate a sound to resume performance as intended by a user.SOLUTION: As a musical sound generating device is caused, when a pressed key matches a specific pipe designated by pipe designating means and the specific pipe belongs to a pipe array designated as sound generating sources, by control means to generate a substitute music sound matching the specific pipe, the substitute music sound matching the specific pipe is generated. Therefore, when any installed pipe runs into trouble, if the pipe in trouble is designated as a specific pipe, one of the pipes constituting the pipe array can be selected for generating the substitute music sound on a pipe-by-pipe basis.
