      SOLUTION: A sheet folding device comprises: a plurality of stoppers 601-603 determining a sheet folding position in a sheet carrying direction; a plurality of carrying roller pairs 110 forming a deflection by abutting the sheet with the stoppers 601-603; and at least four folding rollers 201-204 closely installed and rotating in a direction. A first folding roller 201 and a second folding roller 202 form a first nip part 205, the second folding roller 202 and a third folding roller 203 form a second nip part 206, and the third folding roller 203 and a fourth folding roller 204 form a third nip part 207. A wide variety of sheet folding processing is performed by selectively using these nip parts 205-207.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding treatment device and an image forming device capable of attaining enhancement of productivity in folding treatment.
      SOLUTION: The folding treatment device is provided with a pair of folding rollers 51a, 51b; and a folding blade 50 provided to be freely retractable to the nip parts 52 of the pair of folding roller so as to opposedly arranged on the pair of folding rollers 51a, 51b and guiding the sheet to the nip parts 52 of the pair of folding rollers, and folding-treats the sheets successively delivered from a pair of paper-delivery rollers 8 of an image forming body by the pair of folding rollers 51a, 51b. A paper delivery line speed of the pair of paper delivery rollers 8 and a line speed of the pair of folding rollers 51a, 51b are made variable respectively. The folding blade 50 is moved to the nip part 52 while rotating the pair of folding rollers 51a, 51b at the same line speed as the paper delivery line speed of the pair of paper delivery rollers 8 to perform the folding treatment.
