Inside the fixing belt 104, the pressure roller 102 forms a nip part 122 with a nip forming member 106, and between the nip forming member 106 and the fixing belt 104, a cloth-like slide sheet 108b (slide member) is installed, which contains lubricant 112 and is molded so that a fiber recessed groove direction 130b (groove direction) becomes identical to a slide direction of the fixing belt 104. A lubricant circulation member 110a holds the lubricant 112 to be applied to the slide sheet 108b on the upstream side of the nip part 122, and applies the lubricant 112 to the fixing belt 104 to supply the lubricant 112 to the downstream side of the nip part 122.
