A part of the sheet conveyance path is openably/closably covered by a cover 8. One of the pair of feeding members is provided on a body side as a body side feeding member (a timing following roller). The other of the pair of feeding members is provided as a cover side feeding member (a timing driving roller 32a) in a position changeable manner with respect to the cover 8. A guide member 55 provided on the body side allows the cover side feeding member to move in a first direction crossing the track of opening/closing of the cover and closer to the body side feeding member in a closing operation of the cover 8, and to oppositely move in a second direction away from the body side feeding member in an opening operation of the cover 8.
