A fixing rate is improved at the same pressure by passing a record sheet a plurality of times. Namely, by passing an image formation sample through the same pressure fixing device a plurality of times of which number corresponds to an image pattern, the fixing rate suitable to the image pattern is assured by the same pressure fixing device without generating abnormal sound at the time of exit from a fixing nip, thus enabling an excellent image formation sample to be output.
