摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner container and an image forming apparatus, in which attaching and detaching operations of a toner container can be smoothly carried out while maintaining high sealing property between a container body and a cap portion without increasing the size of the cap portion.SOLUTION: The toner container includes: a cap portion 34Y, into which an opening of a cylindrical container body is inserted and which has a toner outlet W for discharging a toner discharged from the container body to the outside of the container; and a shutter member to open and close the toner outlet W. The cap portion 34Y includes a sealing material 37 to seal a gap between the cap portion and the container body, and a pressure-receiving portion 34c, which is pressed in a direction resisting against the force of mounting the cap, when the cap portion 34Y is mounted on an image forming apparatus. The pressure-receiving portion 34c is disposed at a top end in the longitudinal direction. The sealing material 37 is disposed in a side close to the container body with respect to the pressure-receiving portion 34c.
