With this configuration, when a bottle head part 101b is pushed in to the container holding part 78, a force in the rotation direction is applied to the container holding part 78 in association with the protrusion on a peripheral surface 131 moving in the push-in direction brought into rubbing contact with the tapered face 78c, so as to guide the entrance of the notch 78a toward the protrusion on a peripheral surface 131 while rotating the container holding part 78.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner container which is inexpensive and has toner sealing performance while employing a mechanism such that internal pressure is discharged when an external stopper is removed. SOLUTION: The toner container which can be loaded in a developing device of an image forming apparatus using electrophotography comprises a bottle, an internal stopper, and the external stopper and has an internal pressure governing mechanism which governs the internal pressure in the container when the external stopper is removed. Such a governing mechanism performs ventilation between the inner and outer sides of the bottle and the internal pressure is adjusted almost to outside air pressure, so even when the external stopper is removed, the external stopper never jumps out of the bottom because of the internal pressure.
