    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overlap structure in consideration of spatial arrangement of a line A and a line B so that a contact angle between a pantograph and a trolley line can be made small at a transition point from the line A to the line B.SOLUTION: Near an entrance F of an overlap section R, a contact fitting 10 between a line B 7B and a substitute trolley line 9 is arranged laterally outside a moving range of a pantograph P, more specifically, in a position distant by a half (900 mm, for example) or more of the length in a width (rail orthogonal direction (lateral direction) in a horizontal plane) of the pantograph from the rail lateral center. In the position, a line A 7A is located sufficiently distant from the line B 7B in a rail outward direction, thereby preventing the pantograph P receiving power from the line A 7A from coming into contact with the contact fitting 10 of the line B 7B. In the entrance F of the overlap section, the line A 7A and the line B 7B are separated from each other only by 150 mm in a height direction, thereby reducing the height of the line B 7B.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring method of a trolley wire that can reduce wear of the trolley wire by sliding outside a sliding range of a contact strip.SOLUTION: In a deflection constitution method, there are provided: a general section R1 in which a deviation value which is a right and left meandering amount of the trolley wire is a standard value; an overlap section R3 where a plurality of trolley wires whose deviation values are larger than the standard value exist; a shift section R2 that shifts from the general section R1 to the overlap section R2. In the shift section R2, the deviation value increases gradually every one meandering. As a result, a sliding range of a contact strip and the trolley wire gradually expands to the outside direction, and the range where a temperature rise due to both frictions expands. Therefore, a part outside a standard sliding range also is caused the lubricating action by the melt of the low melting metal, and can control the wear of the trolley wire.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus capable of detecting pantograph bounce, regardless of day and night by employing a low-cost means.
SOLUTION: The pantograph bounce detector 1 of a pantograph mainly includes an ultraviolet-receiving section 10 set near a pantograph P, and an optical quantity measuring device 21 disposed inside a vehicle V. The ultraviolet-receiving section 10 is connected to the optical quantity measuring device 21 via a plastic fiber 30. The ultraviolet-receiving section 10 includes a filter 12 for allowing an ultraviolet component of not longer than a predetermined wavelength of an arc light to pass, and a fluorescent glass 13 for converting the ultraviolet light, passing through the filter 12 into a visible light. A non-ultraviolet component of a wavelength not shorter than the predetermined wavelength is removed by using the filter 12, thereby the ultraviolet light contained in the arc light can be detected at a high rate for sunshine. The ultraviolet light thus detected is converted into visible light by the fluorescent glass 13, and thereby the plastic fiber 30 can be used as a cable for transmitting light.
