    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain material placing ship of catamaran type capable of enhancing the stability of pontoons on which a drain material placing machine runs around and placing a vertical drain material efficiently without requiring frequent turn of the ship.
      SOLUTION: The pontoons 1 are arranged in line with a space 2 for placing the material interposed and connected together rigidly by reinforcing members 3 and 4 so as to form one drain material placing ship, wherein at the end of each pontoon on the space side, a running rail 10 is laid along the space 2, and a trolley 9 striding the space 2 is installed movably on the rails, and a drain material placing device 6 of center placing type is mounted on the trolley 9. The trolley 9 is run in the longitudinal direction of the space 2 by wheels and a motor, and the vertical drain material B is placed at a certain pitch. The trolley 9 is furnished with traversing trolleys 11 movable crosswisely to the running direction, which enables placing of the material in rows.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain material placing machine capable of intruding a drain material by a constantly appropriate protruding force by a roller of an extensible mandrel and avoiding enlargement of the machine.
      SOLUTION: A drain material is injected in the underground by a mandrel intruding machine mounted in a self-traveling vehicle. The mandrel 9 is extensibly constituted of a multiple tube formed of the outer tube 9a and the inner tube 9b. A pair of rollers 10 opposite to each other at the same level are provided as a mandrel intruding machine 6. The pair of rollers 10 are installed to be approachable to/deviable from the mutual opposite roller to the opposite roller 10. Hydraulic cylinders 17a-17d are provided as a means to push each roller 10 against respective opposite rollers. The pushing force of the hydraulic cylinders 17a-17d is set by the relief pressure of the hydraulic circuit.
