    • PURPOSE:To adjust the deposition of a releasing agent according to temp. distribution of metallic molds and to adjust the kind of the releasing agent by mixing plural resin powders varying in m.p. and inorg. powders. CONSTITUTION:The powder releasing agent for casting is formed by mixing at least two kinds of the resin powders varying in m.p. and at least one kind of the inorg. powder. This releasing agent is applied on the metallic molds. The temp. rises in the metallic mold parts existing near sprues and the metallic mold parts corresponding to the thick parts of castings and, therefore, all the low-, middleand high-melting resin powders melt and becomes to a tacky adhesive state after adhesion. Only the low melting resin powder or the low- and middle-melting resins melt and become to the tacky adhesive state in the parts A where the mold metal temp. is relatively low but the tacky adhesive power thereof is low. The many inorg. powder sticks to the high-temp. parts C but the inorg. powders sticking to the low-temp. parts A are hot large in amt. Then, the seizure in the high-temp. parts by casting is prevented and the remaining of the parting material in the low temp. parts does not arise.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a core having no permeation of molten metal and good collapsibility by coating thermosetting resin solution to a first coating layer composing of fine powdery refractory and urea resin solution. CONSTITUTION:The thermosetting resin solution 3a is coated to the first coating layer 2 composing of the fine powdery refractory 2a and the urea resin solution 2b. The thermosetting resin solution 3a for binder is permeated into the urea resin solution 2b in the first coating layer 2 to deeply put down into the first coating layer 2. This second coating layer 3 is left as it is at room temp. and after vaporizing only a part of solvent, it is dipped into a second slurry and dried and the thermosetting resin solution 3a in the second coating layer 3 is permeated into a third coating layer 4 to deeply put down. By drying and hardening this, the second coating layer 3 deeply putting down into the first coating layer 2 and the third coating layer 4 is formed. By this method, the collapsible core having high sticking strength between each of the coating layers can be obtd.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the quality and accuracy of a product by coating a low temp. decomposing resin solution on surface of a first coated layer, vaporizing and drying solvent and next forming a second coating layer on the upper surface. CONSTITUTION:A core base body 1a containing collapsible agent is dipped into a first slurry to form the first coating layer 2. Next, the low temp. decomposing resin 4 of urea resin, etc., is coated on the surface of the first coating layer 2 by spray or impregnation and the resin is vaporized and dried in the range, which it is not set. Successively, the second coating layer 3 is formed by heat-setting with a second slurry composing of aggregate selected from scaly graphite, mica, metal powder, etc., and solvent. As the resin 4 is heated and set as penetrating in the first and second coating layers 2, 3, sticking strength of both coating layers 2, 3 is improved. By this method, as flowing loss of the coating layers 2, 3 is eliminated, the quality and accuracy of the product are improved.

    • PURPOSE:To provide the heat insulating lubrication method for an injection sleeve which improves the lubricity and the heat insulating characteristic and obviates the generation of the intrusion of gases into a casting. CONSTITUTION:A liquid lubricant 2 having lubricity is applied on the inner peripheral surface of the injection sleeve 1 to form a liquid lubricant layer 2 and a heat insulating powder layer 3 is formed on the liquid lubricant layer 2 before the lubricant dries. As a result, a desired amt. of the heat insulating powder 3 is stuck to the sleeve by the wettability possessed by the liquid lubricant layer 2. Since the heat insulating powder layer 3 is provided, the desired heat insulating effect is obtd. The direct contact of the liquid lubricant and a high-temp. molten metal is prevented and the gasification of the lubricant is prevented.
