    • PURPOSE:To supply coating without a coagulation film and a coagulation substance to a coating applicator for a long period of time to enable coating application with stable quality by having inert gas supplied into a storage tank of water-base coating exposed to a surface of the water-base coating so as to prevent skinning of the water-base coating surface. CONSTITUTION:Inert gas 5 is supplied into a tank 1 for storing water-base coating 3. The gas 5 may be inert gas 5 which is heavier than air, argon gas for example. The gas 5 is supplied from above the coating 3 in the tank 1, whereby the gas 5 stays at a coating surface 3-1, air staying at the coating surface 3-1 moves upward, and the entire coating surface 3-1 is covered with the inert gas 5 without touching the air. Therefore the coating surface 3-1 is in contact with only the inert gas 5, wherein activation of the surface is suppressed, and generation of a coagulation film is suppressed, that is, a so- called skinning phenomenon of the water base coating surface 3-1 can be suppressed or prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily constitute various high viscosity coating material-supplying nozzles by fitting discharge part forming members selectively, to do washing/ cleaning simple by removing the members from nozzle bodies, and to discharge coating material uniformly from discharge channels. SOLUTION: This coating material supplying nozzle is constituted of a nozzle body 11 and a discharge part forming member 13 fitted freely attachably/ detachably to the nozzle body 11, and the first passage for introducing coating, the second passage crossing at right angles with the first passage, and a pair of the third passage 23, 23 extending perpendicularly from the vicinities of the right and left end parts of the second passage 22 to the second passage are provided in the nozzle body 11. A coating retaining channel 31 which retains the coating P received from the third passage 23 temporarily to equalize the pressure and discharge channels 32 for leading the coating P outside from the coating retaining channel 31 are provided in the discharge part forming member 13, and the opening surfaces of the coating retaining channel 31 and the discharge channels 32 are closed by the nozzle body 11.
