摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnetic shield satisfying various requirements for employing an SQUID amplifier chip by providing another container-like shield made of a material exhibiting high permeability regardless of the temperature and covering one shield from the outside. SOLUTION: The magnetic shield comprises a container-like superconducting niobium magnetic shield 16 containing an SQUID amplifier chip 22, and a container-like outer permalloy shield 26 covering the superconducting niobium magnetic shield 16 from the outside. The superconducting magnetic shield 16 internally fixed with a board 24 for supporting the SQUID amplifier chip 22 is secured into the recess 14 of a socket 12 by means of a cover 18 for positioning the superconducting magnetic shield 16. The superconducting magnetic shield 16 is further covered with the container-like outer permalloy shield 26 from the outside and shielded from the outside.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of an amplifier employing a superconducting quantum interference device(SQUID) by connecting a capacitor between an element outputting a minute current which includes a constant control current and the amplifier employing the SQUID. SOLUTION: A minute current outputted to a transmission line 38 is given to an Rs-IP loop via a 1st input contact 30a, a linking device 30c, a transmission line 42, and a capacitor 32. In this case, the capacitor 32 passes through only a pulse signal resulting from electric charges generated by an STJ 16, in response to radiation of an X-ray and is an AC component in the very small current, without passing a constant current that is an STJ control current (bias current) which is a DC component in the received very small current. Thus, the DC component in the minute current sent through the transmission line 42 is eliminated, and only the pulse signal resulting from the electric charges generated by the STJ 16 in response to the radiation of an X-ray is given to the Rs-IP loop.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle beam detecting device which is low in a noise level and improved in performance reproducibility by using an STJ (superconducting tunnel junction) element. SOLUTION: On a substrate 10 having an opening 11 and wiring layers 12a-12d made of a superconducting material, a chip 20 on which an STJ element array used as a particle beam detector is integrated and a chip 30 on which a signal processing circuit composed of an SQUID(superconducting quantum interference device), a superconducting ADC, etc., is integrated are connected to each other in a hybrid state by flip chip bonding. The chip 20 is mounted so that the STJ element array may be faced to the opening 11 and the chip 30 is covered with a box-like shielding body 60 made of a superconducting material. A particle beam made incident on the STJ element through the opening 11 of the substrate 10 are detected by only impressing a magnetic field upon the chip 20.

SOLUTION: This evaluation method is used to evaluate misalignment of a bonding which is carried out to bond an integrated circuit chip to a board (multi-chip module, dissimilar integrated circuit chip or the like) in a flip-chip connection manner, where the resistance of a fine wire resistor is evaluated, and an alignment accuracy is obtained resting on a change in resistance. The resistance of the fine wire resistor of an evaluating chip connected to a board in a flip-chip connection manner is measured, with which the misalignment of the chip from the board can be very accurately evaluated. With the use of a fine wire resistor of width of size of one micron or so, a misalignment volume of submicrons can be evaluated.

The line of the strip line structure is converted into the line of planar waveguide structure where a signal line, a wiring layer which is integrally connected with the signal line and a wiring layer which is integrally connected with the ground electrode and the vias 30 are arranged on the same plane and the interval of them is set to be almost constant.
