摘要： PURPOSE:To enable the ortho-para ratio of Raman medium contained in a Raman cell to be arbitrarily set up thereby making semi-permanently continuous operation feasible without decreasing the Raman conversion efficiency as well as enabling the complicated replacement work of Raman medium to be eliminated for notably cutting down the cost thereof. CONSTITUTION:The Raman laser system is provided with circulating paths 12, 14 for circulating Raman medium contained in a Raman cell 102, a circulating pump 16 arranged on the circulating paths, a regenerator 18 filled up with an active catalyst arranged on the circulating paths and a temperature setting up device 22 for setting up arbitrary temperature at the Raman medium passing through the regenerator 18 and the active catalyst filled up in the regene-rator 18. Furthermore, the ortho-para ratio of the Raman medium can be modified by the temperature control of the Raman medium using the temperature setting up device 22 and the action of the active catalyst during the passing through time of the Raman medium in the Raman cell through the circulating paths 12, 14 using the circulating pump 16.
