    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the transfer failure or reduction in image quality by providing a means for holding a guide member for guiding a transfer paper sent from a resist roller to a transfer equipment in such a manner as to be expansible and contractible in the axial direction of a latent image carrier. SOLUTION: The regulating means 7a of a holding means 7 holds a guide member 6 in such a manner that the downstream side, to the advancing direction shown by an arrow B of a transfer paper P, is expansible and contractible in the axial direction (the lateral direction of the transfer paper) of a prescribed direction of the rotating shaft 1b of a latent image carrier 1, and rotatable in a vertical direction shown by an arrow D with the upstream side rotating shaft 7a1 as a fulcrum. Namely, at least the downstream side of the member 6 is laid in the state where the axial expansion and contraction are not regulated. The downstream side end part of the member 6 is pressed down or drawn up in the direction D by the tip of a screw 7a2 screwed to a fixing member 3b integrally protruded from the wall surface on this side and deep side of a case 3a by rotating the screw 7a2, whereby the posture of the member 6 can be set to an optimum state according to the ambient temperature change or the kind of transfer paper P, and regulated so that the transfer paper P can be properly guided.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge electricity toward a transfer paper side and being necessary and sufficient for a transfer, even if the gap between a transfer corona wire and a charge regulating member is narrow by providing a conductive member integrally arranged in the charge regulating member. SOLUTION: A shield case 3 surrounds the transfer corona wire 2 extended to face a toner image carrier 1. In the top opening part, 3a of the case 3, an opening width on the entrance side of a transfer paper P is regulated by the charge regulating member 4. A region corresponding to the opening part, 3a is of a transferring part. The charge regulating member 4 and a guiding member 6 are integrally stuck to the conductive member 5. The top end part 4a of the regulating member 4 is constituted to make the distance up to the top end part 5a of the conductive member 5 shorter than that up to the surface 1a of the toner image carrier 1. When the regulating member 4 is negatively electrified, electricity is first surely discharged between the top end part, 5a of the conductive member 5 and the regulating member 4, without being discharged between the surface 1a of the toner image carrier 1 and the regulating member 4.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent toner scattering by providing a feedback means for feeding back the current from a driven roller. CONSTITUTION:A power source device 16 applies voltage to an applying roller 14 from a power source. A current controller compares the current I1 fed to a transfer belt 11 from the power source via the applying roller 14 with the current I2 fed back from the transfer belt 11 via a feedback roller 15 and a driven roller 13, and it controls the output of the power source so that the difference (I1-I2) becomes a fixed value. The current flowing to a photoreceptor 17 from the transfer belt 11 is kept constant, and a toner image can be transferred under the invariably stable transfer condition. Not only a current is returned to the power source device 16 from the transfer belt 11 via the feedback roller 15, but also a current is returned to the power source device 16 from the transfer belt 11 via the driven roller 13, the sum of these currents becomes the current I2, thus the potential of the driven roller 13 is lowered, and the occurrence of toner scattering is reduced.
