摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avert the occurrence of a longitudinal line offset and to improve image quality and to avert the occurrence of a winding jam and to improve transfer quality by executing image rotation processing and changing a paper feed port to the paper feed port in which the transfer paper of the same size as the size of the transfer paper currently under selection and varying in a setting direction is set. If there is the paper feed port, an image memory controller 608 is made to execute the image rotation processing to change the address at the time of reading out the image information from an image memory 621 in such a manner that the image information of the same original as the original read out of the image memory 612 thus far is rotated 90 deg. or 270 deg.. Simultaneously, the paper feed port is so changed that the transfer paper of the same size as the size of the transfer paper currently under selection and varying in the feed direction is fed.

For example, when the number of passing paper per unit time is large and fixing processing is quick, the quantity of heat given to the paper 10 is set larger than the quantity of heat supplied from the heat source to the fixing roller, so that the temperature of the fixing roller is prevented from lowering.
