摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a surface light source floodlight provided with a mechanism for converting a light source, similar to a conventional line or point, into a surface light source having a broad region in order to obtain soft and uniform light needed to the image lighting in movie and TV studios, etc. CONSTITUTION: This floodlight is arranged with a disklike transparent plate 1, wherein the middle part is bored, having the plane shape of a compact disk type; a light source 4, arranged on the center part of the center part hole of the transparent plate 1; and an annular condensing means 6, being located at the periphery of the light source 4 and for condensing the light of the light source toward the end surface 1a of the middle part hole of the transparent plate. Moreover, a diffusing means 2, being arranged at the back surface 1d of the transparent plate and for irregularly reflecting light, being incident from the end surface 1a of the middle part hole of the transparent plate to be progressed, to emit the light outside from a light-emitting surface with the front surface 1c of the transparent plate as the light-emitting surface, is arranged on the end surface 1b of the outer periphery of the transparent plate. Finally, the light is reflected by a reflecting means 3 for reflecting the progressing light.

摘要： PURPOSE: To provide soft and uniformly diffused light and ideal light distribution without generating a undesirable shadows or multiply overlapped shadows in a floodlight used for stage illumination, particularly, picture illumination for a movie studio, a TV studio or the like. CONSTITUTION: A transparent plate 1, the plane form of which is an n-sided polygonal form (where n is 5 to 14 and in a first embodiment n=6, a hexagonal form), is adopted as a light emission body, the end surfaces 1a, 1c, 1e of alternate side or every three side of the transparent plate 1 are adopted as an incident surface of light, and the lamp light source 4 of a long tube is provided in parallel to the end surfaces. A diffusion means for performing the diffused reflection of light which is incident upon the rear surface of the transparent plate 1 and then emitting light from the front surface is provided, and a light reflecting means 3 is disposed in the end surfaces respectively horizontally facing the end surfaces 1a, 1c, 1e. As occasions demand, a heat sink can be disposed outside the diffusion means disposed in the rear surface of the transparent plate 1.

摘要： PURPOSE: To efficiently use energy so as to provide a panel light source having soft and uniform light by providing a light source and a concentration mirror at one end of a transparent column having an n-gonal section and emitting light from the front surface of a transparent plate using a plurality of diffusion means and reflection means. CONSTITUTION: Light from a lamp 4 irradiates from a light concentration mirror 6 to a transparent column 1 having an n-gonal section (n is an even number from 4 to 12), is irregularly reflected by diffusion paint 2, and emitted from the upper face of the column 1 on the transparent panel 15. Deviated lift is reflected again on a reflection mirror 7 and a mirror finishing 3 so as to improve efficiency. Light penetrating into the plate 15 repeats total reflection in the plate 15 along with light reflected on the endmost mirror finishing face 17 and is irregularly reflected by the diffusion paint from the rear face so as to be emitted from the front face. Heat generation part is cooled down by cool wind penetrating from a blower 11 to an outlet 10. Therefore uniform and soft diffusion light can be provided from a providing surface light source and at the same time energy can be efficiently consumed.
