摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sulfur removal equipment and a sulfur removing method capable of removing sulfur from a used desulfurization catalyst in a short time and miniaturizing equipment.
SOLUTION: The sulfur removal equipment 10 for removing sulfur from the used desulfurization catalyst comprises: a treatment chamber 20a; a microwave generation device 30a, 30b for sending microwaves to the treatment chamber 20a; and a waste gas treatment device for burning the waste gas produced in the treatment chamber 20a. Further, the treatment chamber 20a comprises: a rotator 21 which rotates by drive of a motor; a front surface case part 22 which is disposed on the front edge part of the rotator 21; and a back surface case part 23 disposed on the back edge part of the rotator 21, wherein an input port 24 is disposed on the front surface case part 22 and a taking-out port 25 is disposed on the back surface case part 23. Furthermore, the microwave generation device 30a, 30b is communicated with the treatment chamber 20a via a microwave waveguide pipe 31a, 31b and a heating part 27 is disposed around the rotator 21.
