    • PURPOSE:To detect a leak position of fluid speedily and accurately by calculating an effective value of sound pressure in plural frequency ranges and also calculating the ratios of effective values of sound pressure of respective frequency ranges to that of the whole frequency range. CONSTITUTION:A leak signal detected by an AE (Acoustic Emission) sensor 1a is amplified 2a and 3a and inputted to an arithmetic unit 7 through band-pass filters 4aa-4ak, effective voltmeters 5aa-5ak, and A/D converters 6aa-6ak. The filter 4aa allows a signal detected almost over the entire frequency range of an AE signal of about 0.01-1MHz to pass and the obtained signal is processed 7 to calculate the standardized effective value of sound pressure in the whole frequency range. Other filters 4ab-4ak have frequency ranges obtained by dividing the whole frequency range into (k-1) sections and effective values of sound pressure in their respective ranges are calculated 7. Then, the ratios of effective values of sound pressure of respective ranges to that in the whole range are compared to calculate the distance from the AE sensor to the leak position.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain a microphone which is highly sensitive and has an excellent frequency characteristic even at a high temperature by constituting a tension ring and electrode with metal having a low line expansion ratio and then constituting other composition parts with metal with a line expansion ratio larger than that of the former metal.
      CONSTITUTION: All composition parts expand as temperature rises. A tension ring 10 pushes up a vibrating film 5 upward the upper surface of a vibrating film 1st fixed ring 4 to give a certain tension to the vibrating film 5. Here, since the metal with a line expantion ratio smaller than that of the vibrating film 1st fixed ring 4 is used, their expansions will not be similar, and the extension in the cylindrical direction of the tension ring 10 due to the rise in temperature is smaller that of the vibrating film 1st fixed ring 4. Thus the tensile force given to the vibrating film 5 by the tension ring 10 is smaller compared with at room temperature, and the extension of the vibrating film due to cleep together with the rise in temperature is also smaller.

    • PURPOSE:To improve S/N ratio by forming an ultrasonic wave scattering body fixed on the surface of a piping between an ultrasonic sensor and a noise generation source through a clamp to inhibit ultrasonic waves as noise propagating through the surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:A water drum 3 is provided on a piping 2 between a reactor core and a recirculation pump 1 and an ultrasonic sensor 4, on the drum 3. The sensor 4 detects an ultrasonic wave of a released sound accompanied by a leakage 7 of a coolant at a rupture 6 which will occur at any portion of the piping 2 inadvertently to be inputted into a leakage detector 5. A noise inhibitor 8 is provided fixed at the portion of the piping close to the drum 3 between the sensor 4 and the pump 1. The device 8 is made up of a pair of split halves which are integrally fixed with bolts and nuts 11, 11... as clamping means. The inner surface 12 of the device 8 is made the same in the shape as the outer diameter of the piping 2 and concave grooves 13 are formed in such a manner as to be perpendicular to the direction of the axis thereof so that they will combine with convexes 14 relatively formed to create a scattering body 15. This can inhibit noises propagating through the surface of the piping 2 from the pump 1.
