    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for guiding an aerial rope of a mechanical lift installation with means for detection of a wear tolerance limit of a roller sheave and automatic stopping.
      SOLUTION: The device for guiding the aerial rope of the mechanical lift installation includes: a sheave main body having the roller sheave 10b for guiding the aerial rope and an annular groove defined on the outer periphery; the means 21 for automatically detecting a predetermined wear threshold of a band with a high friction coefficient stored in the groove of the sheave main body; and the means for automatically stopping a drive motor when the threshold is detected. The automatic detection means 21 is formed by an electrically conducting element 21 which is electrically insulated with respect to a sheave assembly and connected to the sheave assembly by fixing means in a transverse position where the aerial rope automatically comes into contact with the element when the band of the associated sheave 10b reaches the predetermined wear threshold.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a module type supporting and pressing sheave assembly for reducing and damping vibration when a grip in an aerial ropeway transport device passes.
      SOLUTION: The series of supporting and compressing composite sheave assemblies are constituted of standard 2S2C modules. Each of the modules has two compressing sheaves 11 and two supporting sheaves 12 rotatably provided at ends of two pairs of holding arms 15 and 16; 18 and 19 connected to each other by a first upper side connecting pin 17 and a second lower side connecting pin 20, respectively, a first damping element 24 inserted between two supporting ends 22 and 23 fixed to the two holding arms 15 and 16 of the compressing sheave 11, a second damping element 27 inserted between two supporting end parts 25 and 26 of the two holding arms 18 and 19 of the supporting sheave 12, and a frame 28 for connecting the first and second pins 17 and 20 and arranged to be connected to the end of a beam 14 having a turning pin 21.
