    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight, safe, and compact ventilator with a small through-hole for efficiently dissipating heat generated from a motor.SOLUTION: The ventilator includes: a cylindrical frame 9 inside of which a fan 3 and a motor 4 are provided; and a flange 6 having an approximately square shape projecting in the radial direction on the circumference of a suction side opening of the frame 9. The motor 4 is provided with a cylindrical heat dissipation plate 12 as if to surround the outer periphery of a housing 4a of the motor 4 in the axial direction. The heat dissipation plate 12 is fixed to the frame 9 via a fixing leg 14 extending in the radial direction, which allows the heat dissipation plate to efficiently dissipate the heat generated from the motor 4 while surrounding the entire motor 4.
