A compressor houses an electric element consisting of a stator and a rotor and a compression element which is driven by the electric element, in a closed vessel containing an upper vessel and a lower vessel. In the compressor, a plurality of legs 106 fitted to the lower vessel are installed in the box body by way of an elastic member 200. The elastic member 200 is arranged at a plurality of cylindrical pins 108 provided on the surface of a compressor installation surface of the box body, with a stop control means of the compressor being provided, to reduce noise and vibration of the refrigerator.
