    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor with low noise and excellent startability realizing a sufficient pulsation reducing effect of a refrigerant gas, and avoiding a pressure in a compression chamber from increasing when starting by restraining lubrication oil from being stored in a delivery muffler.
      SOLUTION: An outlet passage 151, whose one end is communicated with the delivery muffler 147 and whose other end is communicated with an emission communication pipe 161, is provided on an opposite head 131 side of the delivery muffler 147. By making a flow of the rfrigerant gas in the delivery muffler 147 into a flow in one direction, storage of the refrigerant gas is eliminated. Also, the gas is quickly discharged out of the delivery muffler 147, so as to restrain the lubrication oil from being stored in the delivery muffler 147, and also to prevent a capacity of the delivery muffler 147 from being reduced.
