    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information transmission means capable of solving a problem in a digital transmission under outdoor environment, in which error correction is indispensable in view of changes in transmission path and increase of transmission characteristic; but when errors occur continuously like burst error, the correction capacity is exceeded; while the burst error can be dispersed by performing time-interleave; but since a large transmission time is required, the time-interleave is hardly used for two-way communication.SOLUTION: The information transmission means using quadrature modulation duplicates an identical data with a quadrature component and an in-phase component and rearranges the order of the data independently. With this, entire data can be received in a half time of conventional time. In wireless LAN, in which the transmission path is estimated using a preamble only, the durability of fading environment can be increased. Further, even when a maximum half data in the entire segments is subjected to noises like burst, since the entire data can be demodulated using a remaining data, the effect same as the time-interleave can be obtained ensuring stable reception.

The transmission device prepares a short preamble pattern according to the interval between the plural sub-carriers to perform time-division multiplex to transmit the same as a synchronization preamble. The receiving device estimates a frequency error using a correlation of the short preamble pattern according the interval between the plural sub-carriers to correct the received signal on the basis of the estimated frequency error.
