    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech unit in a mobile phone that discriminates whether the mobile phone is in a transmission state or a call receiving state and automatically sets the mobile phone to a speech state when the mobile phone is in the call receiving state without the need for pushbutton operations. SOLUTION: A call transmission/receiving state discrimination circuit 15 detects a call transmission state by a detection output of a microphone bias detection circuit 11 or a speaker tone detection circuit 12 and detects the call receiving state by an output of a transmission radio wave detection circuit 14. When the discrimination circuit 15 detects the call receiving state, the circuit 15 drives an integration circuit 16. The integration circuit 16 delays a detection signal of the speaker tone detection circuit 12 that detects a ringer melody or a call bell tone generated from the mobile phone in this case. Thus, using the delayed detection signal by a prescribed time for a trigger drives a pulse generating circuit 17, a switch drive circuit 18 receiving the pulse output of the circuit 17 generates a drive signal to close a control switch 5. Thus, the mobile phone of a caller is connected to a line thereby the mobile phone is brought to a speech state.

    • PURPOSE:To attain excellent oscillation without interference of plural crystal oscillators and without need of a correction circuit by providing a short-circuit means short-circuiting the crystal oscillators except one crystal oscillator among the plural crystal oscillators to the crystal oscillation circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a basic frequency control signal Vfd is at, e.g. a low level and an input terminal a1 and an output terminal y1 of a switching circuit S2 are conductive, a VCO 13 is oscillated based on a reactance component of a crystal oscillator X1 and other crystal oscillator X2 is short-circuited via terminals a2, y2. Then when the basic frequency control signal Vfd is at a high level and an input terminal b1 and the output terminal y1 of the switching circuit S2 are conductive, the VCO 13 is oscillated based on a reactance component of a crystal oscillator X2 and the one crystal oscillator X1 is short-circuited via terminals b2, y2. Since the short-circuited crystal oscillator gives no effect on the crystal oscillator during oscillation, the interference between the crystal oscillators is avoided.
