    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge reliably whether the solenoid valve for switching between hot-water supply systems of a bypass mixing type hot water-supply apparatus is failed or not in the case the temperature of taking in water to the apparatus is high or there are the variations of detecting temperatures by an inside drum outlet thermistor and an appliance outlet thermistor. SOLUTION: Whether there is a possibility of the failure of solenoid value OFF or not is judged by using the difference of detection temperatures by an inner drum outlet thermistor 26 and an appliance outlet thermistor 42 at the bypass controlled hot-water supplying of predetermined temperature and at the next hot-water supply, the failure of a solenoid valve 40 is judged measuring the deviation between the thermistors and correcting the difference between the detected temperatures. The value of the measured deviation between the thermistors at the prior judgement of failure is stored in a memory inside a burner controller 50 and the value is used as the correcting value at the next judgement of the failure of the solenoid valve 40.

    • PURPOSE:To keep a blast amount at a proper value even when exhaust gas resistance is increased and resistance of a drive mechanism is increased and to detect rotation abnormality of a blower by a method wherein when the number of revolutions of the blower under combustion is below the reference number of revolutions, a drive voltage is increased and when it exceeds the reference number of revolutions, drive is performed at a reference drive voltage. CONSTITUTION:When control of an air-fuel ratio is started, a demand fuel gas amount is decided and a fan motor 26 is driven and the current actual number (n) of revolutions is detected by a number of revolutions detecting part (29). A detecting actual number (n) of revolutions is compared with the reference number (N) of revolutions prestored at a memory part 27 by a comparing part 28. When the actual number (n) of revolutions is below the reference number (N) of revolutions, a drive voltage is increased so that the actual number (n) of revolutions is increased to a value equal to the reference number (N) of revolutions. When, even if a drive voltage is increased, it is below the allowable number of revolutions on the minimum side and a limit time elapses, a main salenoid valve is closed to stop combustion. Further, when the actual number (n) of revolutions exceeds the reference number (N) of revolutions, a reference drive voltage is kept and combustion is continued.

    • PURPOSE:To avoid hunting and improve the responsiveness by calculating the feedback, in a system of controlling the value of the electric current corresponding to the degree of the opening of a proportional gas valve in the combustion burner, with the correction factor in the amount of feedback as a small value when the input is low. CONSTITUTION:A hot-water heater 10 is equipped with a hot water-temperature- adjusting volume 28, a water governor 16 and a water-flow-detecting switch 18 in a feedwater pipe 14 to a heat exchanger 12, and a thermistor 22 for the hot outflow in the hot-water pipe 20 from the heat exchanger 12. For the combustion burner 30 for the heat exchanger 12 a proportional gas valve 36 is provided in the fuel gas-supply line 32. The proportional gas valve 36 is controlled by a burner controller 26 in a manner of feedback control so as to make the temperature of the hot outflow agree with the set point. The burner controller 26 calculates the amount of the present input by adding to the amount of the previous input an amount of feedback having such a correction factor as gradually increases in keeping with increase of the amount of the input.

CONSTITUTION: A bath boiler with a water heater comprises a heat exchanger 3 in which a water supply tube 1 and a hot water output tube 2 are piped, a gas burner 4 for heating the exchanger 3 in the heater A to supply hot water to a bathtub 41, a main variable governor 6 for specifying the flow rate of the water of the tube 1, a sub-water channel 14 provided at the governor 6, and a switching solenoid valve 12 for opening the channel 14, wherein the valve 12 is opened in the case of supplying hot water to the bathtub 41 to increase the flow rate of the hot water to rapidly fill the bathtub with the hot water. If the hot water temperature in this state is lower than a set temperature, the valve 12 is closed on the way of filling the hot water, to raise the temperature of the hot water, or the bathtub water is reheated by a reheater B, and the hot water is filled at the set temperature in the bathtub 14. Shape memory alloy is used for the governor 6 and the channel 14 to deal with the change of the feed water temperature.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate potential hazards, such as a burn caused by high temperature hot water flowing in a general hot water supply single mode by lowering a supply temperature of a hot water supply temperature to a safety temperature at first and then closing an on/off valve. CONSTITUTION:In simultaneous service mode, a water on/off valve 26 is opened while additional high temperature water is allowed to flow into a bath tub. Hot water is supplied to a wash stand 9 with a faucet 27. Then, a simultaneous hot water supply end signal is transmitted so that the mode is switched over to a general hot water supply single mode where a hot water supply setting temperature Ts is changed to a setting temperature Tm which is lower by 10 several in than a setting temperature Th which is proper to the high temperature additional hot water. When the output hot water temperature detected with a thermistor 24 turns to the setting temperature Tm, the water on/off valve 26 is closed, thereby stopping the supply of hot water into a bath tub and allowing hot water to be supplied to the wash stand 9 in single supply mode. Then, the opening of a water quantity control motor 22 (21) is controlled so that the hot water supply temperature may be equivalent to 'the setting temperature' Ts or more particularly so that the detection temperature of the temperature detection thermistor 24 may be equivalent to the hot water supply setting temperature Ts.

In addition to that, there is further adopted a higher precision instrument which computes and corrects a proportional factor between the rotary speed of the fan 30 for a hot water heater and the opening of the gas proportional valve 28 based on a reference gas and determines the rotary speed of the fan 30 based on the corrected operation data.

Hot water from the side of the heat-exchanger 13 and service water from the bypass 20 are mixed by the automatic mixing-valve 21, and mixed water is made at a desired hot-water temperature and is supplied to the hot-water supply faucet 16.

SOLUTION: When the conduction of water is detected (S2: YES), a set temperature at this time point is specified as a reference temperature (S6), and a limited temperature range, coping with the reference temperature, is read out. The limited temperature range is to limit the range of limit temperature, changeable during supplying hot-water, so as to be narrower than a normal temperature range, and is set in a width within several seconds centigrade about the center of the reference temperature. When the set temperature is changed during supplying hot-water (S8: YES), the temperature, being changed, is judged whether the change is within the limited temperature range or not and the change is permitted within the limited range of temperature (S9: YES, S10), and, thus, only the change in the degree of fine adjustment of a hot-water supplying temperature is allowed but a remarkable change, without the limited temperature range, is prohibited.
