摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make power distributing equipment itself, such as a watthour meter, small-sized and to lower the cost of a power distributing equipment product.
SOLUTION: A nameplate 13 made of a transparent material is fitted integrally in a recessed part in the front of a cover 11 to protect a watthour meter main body together with the cover 11. On the reverse surface 13e of the nameplate 13, specific entry contents are printed or impressed in reverse character shapes. Consequently, the nameplate 13 functions as a conventional transparent window part, which becomes unnecessary. Consequently, the components of the watthour meter decrease in number and the watthour meter can be made small-sized and low in manufacture cost. Further, the entry contents are shown on the reverse surface 13e of the nameplate 13, so the entry part can be neither touched nor altered except the maker.
