    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring apparatus capable of accurately measuring a pulse together with a blood pressure value over a long period of time while suppressing burdens on a subject.SOLUTION: A measuring apparatus includes: an air bag 13 to be mounted on a measuring part; a pressure sensor 23 for measuring the internal pressure of the air bag; a pulse wave sensor 30 for detecting pulse waves, which is disposed at a position to be pressed to the measuring part by mounting the air bag on the measuring part; and an arithmetic unit 40 connected to both sensors 23 and 30, for calculating a blood pressure and a pulse on the basis of the output values thereof. The arithmetic unit increases and decreases the internal pressure of the air bag and calculates a blood pressure value on the basis of the internal pressure change of the air bag in the process when measuring the blood pressure, executes an arithmetic operation of calculating a pulse from the sensor signal of the pulse wave sensor at the time other than the time of measuring the blood pressure, and compares the sensor signal from the pulse wave sensor with a sensor signal from the pressure sensor and thereby selects one of them to calculate the pulse from the sensor signal when measuring the blood pressure.
