摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonlinear optical microscope capable of improving the spatial resolution.SOLUTION: The nonlinear optical microscope includes: an illuminating unit (comprising parts 11, 12, 13, 21, 25, 26, 31, 32, and 33) which irradiates a sample 35 with illuminating beams of at least two colors different by wavelength through an objective lens 33 so that the illuminating beams overlap spatially and temporally; and a detection unit (comprising parts 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, and 46) which detects signal light generated from the sample 35 by a nonlinear optical effect caused by irradiation of the illuminating beams of at least two colors to the sample 35. The illuminating unit irradiates the sample 35 with, as the illuminating beams of at least two colors, illuminating beams where a wavefront distribution of the illuminating beam of at least one color is different from that of the illuminating beam of the other color.
