    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of the conventional sensor cable wherein a piezoelectric effect is reduced, and the output voltage becomes low after all because the external force impressed on the cable is impressed parallel to the longitudinal direction of the piezoelectric body, and moreover the price of the cable becomes high because a consumption of the expensive piezoelectric body wound on the central conductor uniformly is increased, and it is difficult to use the cable for the movable part, due to inferiority in bendability and flexibility.
      SOLUTION: The sensor cable is formed such that insulated conductor insulated with an insulation layer around the center conductor is wound with a piezoelectric element wire formed by winding or coating the piezoelectric material on the conductor, and the external jacket is formed thereon. Because the external force imparted on the piezoelectric body perpendicular to the longitudinal direction generates larger piezoelectric effect, the highly sensitive/highly bendable sensor cable is improved not only in the output and bendability, but also the price down can be made possible by making the piezoelectric body a thin film.

      SOLUTION: The typical example of the sensor cable is that the piezoelectric body is provided on the central conductor, the outer conductor is wound thereon, and the outer jacket is formed on the outer conductor. Herein, both of between the central conductor-piezoelectric body and between the piezoelectric body-outer conductor or either of them adhesive layers are provided, therefore adhesion between the central conductor and the piezoelectric body is enhanced, the transfer efficiency of electric energy generated by the external force to the conductor is enhanced, the output power is increased and at the same time the deformation of the piezoelectric body is prevented. For the highly sensitive sensor cable which is prevented from being in contact with the central conductor and the outer conductor, the piezoelectric body can be made of a thin film, also can be made inexpensive.
