摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate image data by reading images of required areas from documents.SOLUTION: A series of documents arranged in order are fetched one by one while using an ADF function and sent to an image reading section 13. At such a time, the sent-out documents are counted. A setting information storage section 231 stores divided area information including the number of divisions of a corresponding document and a dividing pattern. One side of the document is divided according to the number of divisions and the dividing pattern and divided areas as many as the number of divisions are set. When a count value is matched with a number stored in the setting information storage section 231, reading of the divided area of which the position is corresponding to a read skip area of a document of that number, is skipped by the image reading section 13.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the heating of paper to which an image has not been transferred yet, and to prevent moisture contained in the paper from staining a printing surface because it is not discharged when fixing the image, and concentrates on a local spot inside the image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a temperature/humidity detection part and a dehumidification part so as to keep humidity within a predetermined range. Alternatively, the apparatus is openably provided with a shielding plate at a paper conveyance port from a medium storing device to a printing part, whereby it is hardly affected by outside air. The apparatus is provided with a cooling part to control temperature to be low so that saturated vapor quantity may be small, whereby the moisture absorption of paper is prevented. The apparatus is provided with a cover opening/closing detection part and a heating part so as to detect the exchange of the paper and heat the paper. The apparatus is provided with a humidification part to humidify the paper when the humidity is equal to or under the predetermined one. Dehumidification and cooling are alternately performed to make the temperature fall to preservation temperature. The apparatus is provided with a timer to measure dehumidification time so as to dehumidify the paper by actuating the heating part when the dehumidification time is longer than the predetermined time.
