摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cut-off device capable of securely cutting off water by simple means when making a flow passage bypass an existent pipe by inserting a temporary pipe into the existent pipe.SOLUTION: There is provided a cut-off device 1 used to make the flow passage bypass an existent pipe 3 by inserting a small-diameter temporary pipe 2 into the existent pipe 3 from an end side of the existent pipe 3, the cut-off device 1 includes a protrusion member which is installed at a part or the whole of an outer periphery of the temporary pipe 2, and expands and deforms toward the existent pipe 3 as a liquid is injected, a cut-off member 11 which is installed more on the side of the existent pipe 3 than the protrusion member, and a fixation member which fixes a downstream-side end part of the cut-off member 11 for running water to the temporary pipe 2. An upstream-side end part of the cut-off member 11 for the running water is lifted to the side of the existent pipe 3 through the expansion and deformation of the protrusion member, and the upstream-side end part of the cut-off member 11 comes into slide contact with a wall surface in the existent pipe 3 to close a gap between the existent pipe 3 and temporary pipe 2.
