摘要： PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent heat resistance, by blending a specified cyclic thioamide with chloroprene rubber. CONSTITUTION:A cyclic amide compd. and diphosphorus pentasulfide are heated in the presence of an appropriate solvent. The reaction mixture is filtered with heating. The resulting filtrate is cooled. Alternatively, an alkanolamine is reacted with CS2 in the presence of an alkali in an aq. soln. The resulting alkali metal dithiocarbamate is treated with Pb(NO3)2. The reaction product is extracted from the resulting aq. soln. by using an appropriate solvent. Then the solvent is distilled off to obtain a cyclic thioamide compd. of the formula wherein R is H, methyl, phenyl; X is methylene, O; n is 1-10 when X is methylene and n is 2-10 when X is O. Then 0.1-5pts.wt. said cyclic thioamide compd. as a vulcanization accelerator is blended with 100pts.wt. chloroprene rubber. EFFECT:An improvement of 10-30% in heat resistance can be made over vulcanizates obtd. by using ethylenethiourea.

CONSTITUTION:Into 100pts.wt. natural rubber or synthetic rubber, such as polybutadiene, are incorporated 0.1-100pts.wt. benzothiazole derivative of the formula [where Y is O or carbonyl; R1 is an alkyl of 1-4C or phenyl; R2 is H, an alkyl (carbonyl) or an alkoxycarbonyl; R1 and R2 may be linked by forming an alkylene bridge] as vulcanization accelerator, and if necessary, a metal oxide such as ZnO, an extender such as carbon black, and an antioxidant.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition especially excellent in scorch resistance during processing, prepared by compounding a thioamide compound as a vulcanization promotor. CONSTITUTION:The titled composition has a thioamide compound shown by formula (wherein R and R are each 1-4C alkyl or cyclohexyl, or R and R are combined together to form -(CH2)n-or-CH2CH2OCH2CH2-; m is 0-16; and n is 4 or 5) (e.g., N, N-dimethylacetamide, N-pentamethylenepropionthioamide) as a vulcanization promotor compounded therein. The thioamide compound is nearly equal to ethyleneurea which is used most widely in the vulcanization speed, the ordinary physical values of a vulcanizing composition and heat resistance but extremely excellent in scorch resistance during processing. Therefore, it is unnecessary to use a scorch retarder.

The compounds of formulae I to VI are: a urea compound of formula I (wherein R to R each represents H, a (substituted) 2-4C alkyl, or an aryl, provided that R and R may be bonded to each other to form a 2-6C alkylene), an amide of formula II (wherein R represents H, a 1-18C alkyl, an aryl, or the like), a lactam derivative of formula III (wherein R to R each represents H, a 1-4C alkyl, an aryl, or the like and (n) is 1 to 10), an imidazole compound of formula IV (wherein R to R each represents H, a 1-18C alkyl, an aryl, or the like), an imidazoline compound of formula V (wherein R to R each represents H, a 1-18C alkyl, or an aryl), and an aliphatic diamine of formula VI (wherein R represents a 1-12C alkylene) and a carbamate thereof.

As a compound of formula II,is cited 1-methyl-3-methylthiopyridazine- 6-thione, as a compound of formula III, 1,2-dimethylpyridazine-3,6-dithione and the amount is 0.1-5, preferably 0.3-1.5pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the rubber. The vulcanization rate and physical properties under dry conditions are kept almost same as in case that ethylenethiourea is used as a vulcanizing accelerator.

CONSTITUTION:This NBR composition is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. acrylonitrile.butadiene copolymer rubber (NBR) with (B) 0.5-10 pts.wt. tetrakis(2- ethylhexyl)thiuram disulfide and (C) one or more vulcanization accelerators such as benzothiazole-based, sylfenamide-based, dithiocarbamate-based, guanidine- based, aldehyde.ammonia-based, aldehyde.amine-based, thiourea-based, xanthate- based and dithiophosphate-based vulcanization accelerators in an amount so as to provide 1-10 pts.wt. total amount of the vulcanization accelerators. This composition is capable of preventing nitrosamine which is a carcinogenic substance from occurring in a working environment related to the production of rubber products.
