摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a slime controlling agent having high preventing effects on the formation of slimes, high removing effects on the slimes and high safety by including a carbazinic acid hydrazinium salt as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: This slime controlling agent is obtained by including a carbazinic acid hydrazinium salt as an active ingredient. The slime controlling agent is preferably prepared by including an aqueous solution of carbazinic acid hydrazinium salt at 5-75 wt.% concentration obtained by blowing gaseous carbon dioxide into hydrazine hydrate in 2:1 molar ratio thereof to the hydrazine hydrate as an active ingredient. Other slime controlling agents, an anticorrosive agent, a scale inhibitor, etc., can be added to the slime controlling agent. The concentration of the carbazinic acid hydrazinium salt added to a cooling water system is preferably 1-300 ppm. Methods for intermittent addition or continuous addition of a constant amount, etc., are cited as a method for adding the carbazinic acid hydrazinium salt to the cooling water system.

Carbazinic acid hydrazinium salt (NH2 NHCO2 N2 H5 ) is useful in the fields of e.g. deoxidizer, slime controlling agent, reducing agent and etching agent.
