摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the overall length of a transfer vehicle and improve drivability by slidably disposing a movable element between a pair of guide members which are opposed to each other and attaching supporting arms which support a beam to the movable element. CONSTITUTION:A pair of parallel guide members 1 and 1 which are opposed to each other has travelling casters 11 and auxiliary casters 13. A movable element 2 is slidably mounted between the guide members 1 and 1. The movable element 2 comprises a pair of sliders 22 and 22 which are guided via rollers along guide grooves 14 on the guide members 1, and a movable rod 21 which connects the sliders 22 together. The movable rod 21 has a travelling caster 25 in the middle and holders 24 at both ends. A supporting stem 41 having a wheel 4 is secured to each of the holders 24. A rotary shaft 31 is held between the sliders and has a pair of supporting arms 3 and 3 fitted thereto. The arms 3 and 3 are driven by an arm drive 5 while the movable element 2 is driven by a slide driving device 6.
