摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a treatment to reduce the weight of garbage or like stinking and remove the odor thereof free from any environmental problem and with simple equipment by providing a combustion furnace below a deodorizing furnace and the deodorizing furnace below a fermentation drying tank. SOLUTION: A fermentation drying tank 2 is provided to ferment and dry a matter containing moisture treatable by fermentation, for example, garbage under heating conditions and a combustion furnace 3 to incinerate the matter to be treated by the fermentation drying tank 2. A deodorizing furnace 4 is provided to deodorize bad-smelling exhaust gas as generated from the combustion furnace 3 by combustion. A heat recovery circuit 5 is provided to introduce the exhaust gas deodorized as generated from the deodorizing furnace 4 into the fermentation drying tank 2 as heat source for heating and a generated gas guiding path 6 is provided to guide an odor gas steam generated in the fermentation drying take 2 to a deodorizing path 4 or the combustion furnace 3. With such an arrangement, the generation of offensive odor can be prevented with a relatively compact designing.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover polyethylene which is partially thermally decomposed and melted and whose hardness is increased and to recover a metal in non- oxidized state separated from the polyethylene to reuse as raw materials by heating wastes of composite materials comprising polyethylene and the metal in the absence of oxygen. SOLUTION: A waste of a composite material comprising polyethylene and a metal is dividually put in a plurality of buckets 1 and these buckets 1 are housed in a dry distillation furnace 2. Then, steam is supplied to a steam pipe 6 of a combustion furnace 5 and heated by a burner 7 to generate overheated steam in the absence of oxygen and the overheated steam is sprayed to the waste in the buckets 1 in the dry distillation furnace 2 through a header 3 and nozzle pipes 4 to dry distill the wastes. As a result, polyethylene, a constituent of the waste, is partially thermally decomposed and melted and polyethylene with increased hardness is recovered and a metal in non-oxidized state and separated from polyethylene is recovered and made reusable.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable discharging of an incineration discharge gas into air by subjecting a chlorine-contg. plastic waste to dry distillation, absorbing the hydrogen chloride gas produced by the dry distillation to water to collect, and incinerating the carbon residue after the dry distillation. SOLUTION: A waste of polyvinyl chloride products is put in a furnace 2 for dry distillation and incineration, then a boiler 6 and a heating furnace 8 are operated to produce an overheated vapor, which is supplied to the furnace 2 to dry distillate the waste. The discharged gas containing the overheated vapor, the gas produced by dry distillation and hydrogen chloride gas produced by dry distillation is sent through a gas cooling device 14, a hydrogen chloride concentration meter 6 and a switching valve 15 to a collecting device 3 for hydrogen chloride, where the discharged gas is successively introduced to bubble in three water tanks 16 to 18. Thereby, the overheated vapor in the discharged gas is condensed into water and recovered. The hydrogen chloride gas is absorbed by the water while the gas produced by dry distillation is passed through the water tank 18 and then supplied by a blower 24 to a burner of the heating furnace 8 with air for combustion. Thus, the gas produced by dry distillation is rendered harmless.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten treatment time, the reduction of energy, the reduction of the weight and volume of residues and the prevention of an explosion accident by executing dry distillation and carbonization of waste in the state of lowering the oxygen concn. in an atmosphere by supplying high-temp. steam, then supplying moisture and cooling the treated matter, thereby obtaining carbide. SOLUTION: The dry distillation and carbonization stage is executed after the end of a fermentation stage. The dry distillation is executed by preferably raising the temp. in a vessel 1 to about 300 deg.C and holding this for a prescribed time. Heating is executed by blowing the high-temp. steam heated with waste gas heat into the vessel 1. The carbonization to be executed after the dry distillation is executed by raising the tamp. in the vessel 1 preferably to about 700 deg.C and holding this temp for a prescribed time while blowing the high-temp. steam formed by the supply of the steam by a boiler 20 and the superheating by a burner 5 into the vessel 1. The cooling stage is executed by putting out the burner 5 and injecting water from a water supply pipe 21 into the vessel 1 while agitating the treated matter after the carbonization. After the temp. in the vessel 1 falls down to 100 to 150 deg.C, the carbide is taken out.
