    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deposition of carbon on the upstream side of a catalyst layer in a reformer, to consist essentially of butane gas in a hydrocarbon gas and to prevent the reliquefaction of butane gas even when outside temp. is low by providing a hydrogen adding means for adding gaseous hydrogen to hydrocarbon gas at the pre-stage from compression. SOLUTION: In an adjusting process of a gaseous starting material, gaseous hydrogen (H2 ) and butane gas (C4 H10 ) desulfurized in a time as short as possible are mixed in a volume ratio (gaseous hydrogen)/(butane gas) of a little over 4/5 and are supplied to a compressor 4. Gaseous hydrogen for producing the mixture is obtained by taking out a part of a gaseous hydrogen product from a gaseous hydrogen product taking out port 50 provided in the final process of a hydrogen generation device through a branched pipe 52 and a flow control valve 54, which are the gaseous hydrogen adding means. The branched pipe 52 is connected at the mid-way of a butane gas feed pipe 2 for supplying butane gas to the compressor 4.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide deodorization apparatus with less unburned components in flue gas and without the need to increase the size of the apparatus by conducing perfect combustion in deodorization apparatus provided with a catalysis part for conducting deodorization treatment by contacting the catalysis part with target gas, an introduction passage for introducing the target gas into the catalysis part, and a burner for heating the target gas before the treatment. SOLUTION: A large diameter portion 11 expanding its cross sectional area toward the downstream side is provided at an introducing passage 10 and a combustion tube part 14 disposed at vicinity of the expanding diameter portion 11 in such a way as to cross the introducing passage 10 is connected to a burner 12. A U-shape is formed in composition of the combustion tube part 14, wherein the U-shape comprises an inlet of fuel gas 15, a first straight tube part 16 provided with a combustion pr 18, a second straight tube art 22 provided with ejection ports 24 in parallel for discharging the flue gas, and a curved tube part 20 connecting both straight parts so that the direction of combustion gas is changed from the one toward the first straight tube part 16 to the one toward the second straight tube part 22. The second straight tube part 22 is provided and disposed on the upper steam side of the first straight tube part 16.
