摘要： PURPOSE:To permit a long-term stable continous operation by preventing or suppressing the occurrence of coking near the upper edge of annular groove by forming a heavy oil trapping portion around the annular groove. CONSTITUTION:In the inside of the heat reaction tank 3, the annular groove 5 is formed above the liquid surface inside the tank 3 and the nozzle 7 from which heavy oil is jetted is provided in the annular groove 5 in such a way that heavy oil is fluidized swirlingly around the shaft center to form the heavy oil trapping portion 5a around the whole circumference of the annular groove. Heavy oil is heated 12 and supplied to the heat reaction tank 3 continuously to thermaly decompose it while mixing it by circulation by the pumps 9 and 15. Then, light oil is taken out of the pipe 17 and also heavy oil is taken out of the pipe 18. The occurrence of coking can be prevented or suppressed by the thin filmy and swirly flow of heavy oil overflowing from the annular groove 5. In this case, the upper end position of heavy oil is stabilized at the upper edge bent portion 5b by the action of the trapping portion 5a even if only one nozzle 7 is used and therefore heavy oil overflowing from the annular groove 5 is made to form a fixed thin filmy and swirly flow exactly, permitting the occurrence of coking to be prevented or suppressed exactly.

摘要： PURPOSE:To permit a long-term stable operation by preventing or suppressing the generation of coking near liquid surface by forming a downwardly tapered conical surface connected concentrically with annular groove at the lower part of the annular groove. CONSTITUTION:In the inside of the heat reaction tank 3, the annular groove 5 is formed above liquid surface in the tank 3 and the nozzle 7 through which the heavy oil is jetted is provided in the annular groove 5 in such a way that the heavy oil is fluidized swirlingly around the center of shaft, and the downwardly tapered conical surface 6 is formed between the annular groove 5 and the cylinder 4. Heavy oil is heated 12 and supplied continuously to the heat reaction tank 3 to thermally decompose it while mixing it by circulation. Then, light oil fraction is taken out of pipe line 17 and also heavy oil fraction is taken out of the pipe line 18. In this case, the heavy oil overflowing from the annular groove 5 is made to form a thin filmy and swirly flow exactly by the action of the downwardly tapered conical surface 6 and then to form a thicker film as it falls down, whereby preventing or suppressing the occurrence of coking near liquid surface in the heat reaction tank.

Heavy oil is heated 12 and supplied continuously to the heat reaction tank 3 to thermally decompose it while mixing it by circulation. Then, light oil fraction is taken out of the pipe 17 and also heavy oil fraction is taken out of the pipe 18. In this case, by setting the swirling speed of heavy oil in the annular groove 5 to 2-15m/sec, the upper end position of heavy oil in the annular groove 5 is disturbed by the flow of the heavy oil even if coking occurs there, and thus the adhesion and growth of formed coke can be prevented or suppressed and economical operation made possible without spending unnecessary power in the supply of heavy oil to the nozzle 7.
