    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain very excellent printability and excellently print in a printing method using particularly a water-based ink by laminating, on at least one face of a transparent support layer, a transparent surface layer consisting of a pulp containing a cane-lined pulp of sugar cane as a main component. SOLUTION: On one face of a transparent support layer 2, a surface layer 1 consisting of a transparent pulp paper having a cane-lined (thick skin of main stem) pulp of sugar cane as a main component is laminated so as to form a transparent laminated body. For the support layer 2, plastic films such as polyester film and polyamide film, and transparent glass is used. For the transparent pulp paper constituting the surface layer 1, a cane-lined material of sugar cane is used as a material, which is pulped so as to make the paper. The transparent pulp paper containing the lined pulp as its main component is laminated and adhered to the transparent support layer so as to make the transparent laminated body. In adhering, a method using an adhesive and a heat fusion method are used.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a paper yarn capable of imparting a touch similar to that of a paper yarn made from conventional Broussonetia kazinoki Sieb. and Edgeworthia chrysantha Lindl. as a raw material at a low cost without using either of both. SOLUTION: This method for producing a paper yarn comprises the first step for heat-treating a fiber bundle contained in a sheath of a banana and/or a leaf of a pineapple as a raw material in an aqueous solution containing an alkaline substance and hydrogen peroxide or a hydrogen peroxide producer and pulping the fiber bundle, the second step for forming the pulp obtained in the first step into a sheet of paper so as to properly arrange fibers in the single direction and affording a thin sheet of paper having a high tensile strength in the direction, the third step for cutting the thin sheet of paper prepared in the second step in the direction parallel to that of the high tensile strength and the fourth step for twisting the cut thin sheet of paper into the paper yarn.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain long-acting fertilizer having soil-improving effect and improving the earth environment by raising temperature of a waste raw material as a substance containing organic substance, a substance containing K and Na, a substance containing Ca or Mg or a substance containing silica under restriction of oxygen. CONSTITUTION:A waste material containing at least a species of a substance containing an organic substance, a substance containing potassium and/or sodium, a substance containing calcium and/or magnesium and a substance containing silica is used as a raw material. Temperature of said raw material is raised under shielding or restricting oxygen and an insoluble melt like as coal and glass is generated to afford the objective fertilizer. Said fertilizer is applied to soil and moisture absorption, water retentivity and air diffusebility of soil, and retentivity and physical properties of the fertilizer are improved, then soil tending to have acidic property is neutralized, thus good environment is given to useful soil bacteria.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high-whiteness pulp by treating a phytomaterial with a pulping solution containing both oxalic acid (salt) and hydrogen peroxide. SOLUTION: First, a pulping solution is prepared by incorporating an aqueous alkaline solution of at least one kind selected from alkali metal hydroxides and (bi)carbonates containing 0.01-4 wt.%, in terms of oxalic acid, of oxalic acid or a soluble salt thereof and 0.02-7 wt.% hydrogen peroxide with at least one kind of bleaching auxiliary selected from the group consisting of (alkyl) anthraquinone-based compounds, anthracene-based compounds each bearing hydroxyl groups on the 9 and 10 sites such as 9,10-dihydroxyethylanthracene, chelating agents and magnesium compounds such as magnesium oxide. Subsequently, a phytomaterial is treated with the above pulping solution at normal temperatures to 190 deg.C under an oxygen partial pressure of at least 1 kg/cm to obtain the objective pulp. The phytomaterial should be stored or transported in such a condition as to be in contact with the above pulping solution.
