    • PURPOSE:To automate sensitivity adjustment and to shorten time for the adjustment by inputting a signal, which output value is continuously changed, from a device for adjustment to a photoelectric switch, continuously changing gain, detecting an ON point or an OFF point and adding or subtracting a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:When ON point teaching is started, a CPU 22 sets the quantity of projecting light to a MAX at first. These projecting light quantity data TD are inputted to a D/A converter 11 of a photoelectric switch 1 and an LED 15 is emits the maximum quantity of projecting light. This maximum quantity of projecting light is reflected on an object 4 to be detected and received in a photodetector 16. When the quantity of projecting light is the MAX value, the operating signal of the photoelectric switch 1 is turned ON and set in an ON area. However, when the quantity of projecting light is decreased and reaches the OFF point, the operating signal of the photoelectric switch is turned OFF and such a state is discriminated by an ON/OFF discriminating means. Then, the value adding a stable operating margin to this OFF point is stored as a set sensitivity value into the photoelectric switch 1.

CONSTITUTION:Received light is photoelectrically converted by a light incidence circuit 3 and a received light signal in accordance with the level of the received light is amplified 4 to be a received light signal VA out, which is outputted to a comparator part 6. A V/F conversion circuit 15 inputs the signal VAout and the action level V2 and converts a given voltage signal into a frequency signal Vfout having a frequency in proportion to the level when the voltage level of the signal VAout exceeds the level V2, then gives it to a light incidence level pilot lamp 16 so as to control the flickering of the pilot lamp 16. Therefore, the flickering cycle of the pilot lamp 16 is controlled with the signal Vfout.
