Turning-on/off of analog switches SWa1 to SWam and SWb1 to SWbn is controlled by the external signal to select resistances Ra1 to Ram and Rb1 to Rbn constituting resistance circuits and resistance values of resistance circuits are changed, and therefore, the inclination of the set LAMBDAtype or pi type membership function is changed.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent power from being consumed wastefully in a light emitting part, by comparing the output signal of a photodetecting circuit with a reference signal set in advance, outputting a control signal corresponding to deviation between them, and controlling the emitted light quantity of a light emitting element. CONSTITUTION:A current flowing on a light receiving element 1 is converted to a voltage VIN by a current/voltage conversion circuit 3, and is inputted to the comparator 7 of a sensitivity adjusting circuit, and a signal processing circuit 4, respectively. At the comparator 7, a reference voltage Vref is compared with the input voltage VIN from the current/voltage conversion circuit 3, and the output is sent to a latch circuit 6. The latch circuit 8 outputs the control signal VUD of an up/down counter 9. The counted output of the up/down counter is converted to an analog signal VLO at a digital/analog converter 10. The voltage output VLO is converted to the current at a voltage/current conversion circuit 6, thereby, the light emitting element 2 is current-driven.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce an output voltage at the time of turning on a photoelectric switch and to add hysteresis to switching characteristics when a light beam is cut off or made incident. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting diode 5, output transistor Q1 and the parallel circuit of a resistor R1 are connected between terminals 1 and 2. A light receiving circuit 6 receives the light of the light emitting diode 5 and when any object is detected, a signal processing circuit 7 outputs a signal at an H level. At such a time, the transistor Q1 for switching is conducted, and a driving current flows to a load 3 connected to a DC power source 4. In this case, the current of the light emitting diode 5 is increased, and the quantity of lights is increased. At the same time, the driving currents of the light receiving circuit 6 and signal processing circuit 7 are increased as well. Therefore, the switching characteristics at the time of ON are stablized, and the adverse influence of noise from the load or power source is reduced.
