摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smooth speedup and slowdown of a ribbon to control the genera tion of noises, control the over-unwinding and improve the printing quality by providing a control section for chopping the electric current to an rewinding motor in starting the rewinding of the ribbon before the completion of rewind ing. SOLUTION: A take-up motor 1 is connected with a control section 8 for functioning a ticket issuing printer by controlling respective sections of the ticket issuing printer through a motor driver 9, and a rewinding motor 2 is connected thereon through a motor driver 10. At the time of drive control of respective motors 1 and 2 by the control section 8, for instance, at the time of start of rewinding, pulses are issued to increase gradually the rewinding motor speed to flow the electric current after t1 and during t2. Then just before stopping, chopping by pulse waves is performed during t3 similarly to the starting time to reduce gradually the rotating speed. Finally the brake is applied by the reverse rotation during t4 to stop completely.

When the operating section 73 is operated and the issuing of a ticket is requested, the section 71 issues the ticket. The electric currents flowing to the motors 81, 82, and 83 become the maximum when the motors 81, 82, and 83 are started and become smaller as the rotating speeds of the motor shafts become higher. After a prescribed period of time, the currents become constant. Therefore, the capacity of the power source can be reduced by making the electric currents supplied to the motors 81, 82, and 83 smaller.

The ticket issuing printer further comprises a counter 7 for counting the moving amount of ribbon, and a section 8 for controlling the rewind motor based on a signal from the counter 7. At the time of rewinding, the counter 7 counts the moving amount of ribbon and when the count reaches the rewinding amount, the motor control section 8 stops the rewind motor to finish the rewinding.
