    • PURPOSE:To obtain an economical switchboard system, by providing a processing part to each function block which forms a switchboard system and securing an interface between the blocks by the loop connection. CONSTITUTION:A switchboard shown in the figure includes the subscriber sybsystems 20 and 30 which give the time division line concentration to the subscribers 200-301, a network subsystem 40 using a time division switch, a register subsystem 50, trunk subsystems 60 and 70, a central control subsystem 10, an operation subsystem 90 and a maintenance subsystem 80. Each of these subsystems contains processing parts 21, 31, 41, 51, 61, 71, 81 and 91 plus a central control processor 11 that control the job proper to each function. these subsystems are connected to each other by loop communication lines 00 and 01 and via loop communication control circuits 22, 32, 42, 52, 62, 72, 82, 92, 12 and 13 respectively to transmit and receive the necessary control information. The subsystem 10 gives the centralizing control to the operations of other subsystems.

    • PURPOSE:To perform maintenance and operation without using a private line by making transfer of alarm information from an exchange to the center, and transmission and receiving of system rise start information and exchange system test information from the center by ordinary call procedure. CONSTITUTION:A maintenance center MC is connected to a remotely maintained office through the first and second repeater stations and given a subscriber's number as a subscriber's terminal of the second repeater station. A remotely maintained office is provided with a subscriber's circuit SC, a trunk NW, a central control processing equipment CC, an alarm controllr ALMC, an emergency circuit EMA and an alarm sender ALMS. The alarm sender ALMS receives information that abnormality occurred in the system of a remotely maintained office from the controller ALMC and informs the center MC, and consists of a pseudo trunk P-OGT that is opposed to an incoming trunk of the first repeater station, a MODEM used for transmitting and receiving information to and from the center MC and a control circuit ALMSC.
