摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate the stains at the exit end of an optical fiber owing to residual toner and prevent the degradation in the quality of printing by covering the exit end of the optical fiber with a light transmittable and conductive thin film. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum 1 undergoes primary charging with a corona discharger 2, image visualizing with a developing device 5 and transferring to printing paper 6. The surface of the drum 1 is cleaned with a cleaning brush 8. Here, a conductive thin film 9 is provided to the exit end of the optical fiber 3 connected to a spot light source array 4. The thin film 9 is light transmittable and conductive. The potential of the thin film 9 is raised from OV or of the potential of the same polarity as that of the surface potential of the photosensitive drum 1. Thereby, the exit end of the optical fiber 3 is prevented from being stained by the residual toner.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a cleaning device which can be applied to a small-diameter photosensitive body, by combining two magnet rolls, two brush rolls, two scrapers, and a storage box in prescribed relations to constitute the cleaning device. The first magnet roll 25 consists of a magnet sleeve 25b, where plural magnets 25a are so arranged that N and S poles are placed alternately in the circumferential direction, and a sleeve 25c on the outside of the sleeve 25b, and the magnet sleeve 25b is rotated in the direction of an arrow G, and the sleeve 25c is rotated in the direction of an arrow H. The second magnet roll 29 has a similar constitution, and a magnet sleeve 29b is rotated in the direction of an arrow J, and a sleeve 29c is rotated in the direction of an arrow K.

On the other hand, when the printing density is low, the rotational frequency of the permanent magnet 2b is slowed down to decrease the supplying quantity of the developer 6. Thus a developing part keeps balance between the consumption and the supply of the developer 2b changing in accordance with an electrostatic latent image density, whereby an excellent image with a uniform printing density can be obtained.

Since the toner image of one page is temporarily transferred and held on the belt 78, an image data storage memory need not have the capacity of two pages but has only to have the capacity of one page, and it is unnecessary to increase the capacity of the memory.

摘要： An electrostatic latent image on a photosensitive drain (10) is developed by application of magnetic toner particles from an improved development device comprising a tank (14) for toner particles in which is arranged a rotary sleeve (11) containing a magnet roll (12). Also, the screen includes a portion (5) so arranged that toner particles adhering to the screen portion (14) when released from the screen upon rotation of the magnets (12) are preferentially attracted to the sleeve (11) rather than being thrown onto the developed image on the photosensitive drum (10).
