摘要： PURPOSE:To autonomously decide a fault position in a communication system without intervention of a maintenance personnel or a monitor device. CONSTITUTION:Each of modules 21, 22, and 23 is provided with a function which decides whether its own module is the object of fault position decision or not, a function which starts the fault position decision test in the case of the object module of fault position decision, and a function which decides the fault position based on the test result at the time of receiving the test result of the test for fault position decision. It is decided whether the module is the object of fault position decision or not, for instance depending on whether the occurrence of a communication fault is detected in a reception system or not. Consequently, the test for fault position decision is started by the module 21 and the fault position is decided based on the test result, for instance, if a communication fault occurs on the way of communication from an SDH 1231 to SDH 1211.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service start method capable of positively informing a third party about entry of a mobile terminal to a particular area and to provide a mobile communication exchange. SOLUTION: The service start method of this invention employs the mobile communication exchange, a plurality of wireless base stations connected to the mobile communication exchange, and a database connected to the mobile communication exchange, in which the database records service start condition information by each user identifier. The method includes: a first step of transmitting position registration information to the mobile communication exchange by a concerned wireless base station when the mobile terminal enters a service area of the wireless base station; a second step of using the database by the mobile communication exchange to search the service start condition information corresponding to the user identifier; and a third step of starting a service on the basis of the service start condition information by the mobile communication exchange when the position registration information corresponds to the service start condition information.

On the other hand, a line information separation section 36 of a called exchange 1-b separates only destination information or the absolute line number in the additional signal in the information sent from the coupler 2 and gives the separated information to a line information collation section 37. The line information collation section 37 compares the absolute line number sent from the separate section 36 with a data of a line information management section 33 in its own exchange to confirm the continuity of the line.
