CONSTITUTION:A position indicating device body 1 consists of a position displacement detecting part 2, a control 3, a processing part 4, and a data transmitting part 5 and is connected to an external device like a personal computer from the transmitting part 5 through a communication line 6. Information of position displacement detected by the detecting part 2 is inputted to the processing part 4, and information is converted to information corresponding to position displacement if a control button 3 is not depressed, and information is converted to information of position displacement larger than information of detected position displacement if the button 3 is not depressed, and converted information is sent to the data transmitting part 5. Thus, the processing part 4 converts always information of position displacement inputted from the detecting part 2 to information of position displacement larger than said information by a certain proportion when the control button 3 is depressed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a position indicator having excellent operability by securing such a constitution where a prescribed code is produced when a sensor means detects a finger touch and sent to an external device and the functions and operating methods of control buttoms are displayed on a screen of the external device. CONSTITUTION:When a finger touch is given to a sensor plate 2 of a position indicator 1, a sensor circuit 3 works to send signals to a transmission circuit 5 via an amplifier circuit 4. The circuit 5 produces a code which can be interpreted by the software of an external device 7 and transmits it to the device 7 via a cable 6. Based on this code, the software of the device 7 executes a program to display the operating methods and functions of the control buttons 8 of the indicator 1. Thus an operator can perform quick and accurate operations of the indicator 1 while looking at a screen where said operating methods and functions are displayed. The software of the device 7 executes a desired operation and discontinues said display when the operator operated the indicator 1 with push of buttons 8.

摘要： PURPOSE:To hold the quality of a speech regardless of variation in transmission delay time, by compensating the variation in transmission delay time according to the distribution of transmission delay in a packet switching network. CONSTITUTION:In the packet switching network 6, a voice packet is transmitted to a reception side through the repeating of packet switching devices 71-7n. The voice packet is stored in a buffer memory 15 for absorbing variation in delay time successively through an input terminal 14. Every time the voice packet is received, a voice packet reception time measuring circuit 16 measures the reception time by using a timer circuit 17 and supplies the measured time to a processor 13. The processor 13 finds the mean value of differences in reception time between succeeding voice packets and looks up the contents of a delay time storage part 18 consisting of an ROM on the basis of said mean value and the number of repeating packet switching devices to supply a delay time value to a control circuit 19 according to the contents. The control circuit 19 uses a timer circuit 20 to perform delay by the delay time value and then outputs the stored voice packets to an output terminal 21 on FIFO basis.

CONSTITUTION:When the data which are described in the page description language are inputted from a host, a raster image(RIP) module 12 executes application software 50 to generate the font data specification information for obtaining font data on characters in the data. A font control means 54 accesses the font data storage area 60 of the cache according to the font data specification information to generate font data according to contour data. When no contour is present, the data base 22 is accessed to fetch contour data and font data is generated according to the contour data. At the same time, the fetched contour data are stored in a 1st storage means. The font contour is generated before the raster image processing to display and print characters at a high speed.

Further, the control circuit CONT writes the sound packet in a register V-REG for the output. After the end of transmission, the control circuit CONT transmits the start flag of the register F-REG via the circuits OR and AND, and the transmission of the interrupted data packet is restarted.
