    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method and a coating structure for stably preventing contaminants from being dispersed from bottom sediment at a water bottom for a long period even when the velocity of water flow is high.
      SOLUTION: In this coating method, a bag body 12 filled with a mortar 14 capable of having water shutoff property when hardened is laid on the surface of the bottom sediment, and the mortar 14 is hardened. Desirably, a water shutoff sheet 16 is laid between the surface of the bottom sediment 30 and the bag body 12 filled with the mortar 14. The bag body 12 is made of a fabric having water permeability and air permeability and preventing the particles of the mortar 14 from passing therethrough.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-shielding structure in waste disposal site which collects and discharges seepage water seeping from a seepage control sheet layer quickly and reliably and makes soil material which becomes a clay inpervious layer easily compactible.
      SOLUTION: This waste disposal site 10 is created as the clay inpervious layer 15 by arranging clay with small coefficient of permeability from the slope to bottom face of natural ground which becomes the waste disposal site 10 and compacting the clay. Therein, the clay inpervious layer 15 is created on the slope part by a prescribed thickens, subsequently, a plurality of drain filter materials 16 are disposed stepwise on the upper surface with a prescribed interval and, further, are embedded in the state that the end parts of the filter materials 16 are exposed by the clay. In addition, a leachate drain pipe 17 is embedded along the boundary position between the slope part and the bottom part so as to be on the same surface with the clay inpervious layer 15 of the bottom surface side.

Further, the same seepage control sheet 4 as the same 4 laid on the inner bottom face from the dam body 1 is lined in the inner part of the box 10. The catchment and drainage pipe 3 is inserted into an opened part in the side end part on the disposal side of the box 10 and also its circumference is covered with a water penetration member 12.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form water impermeable layer by grouting a solidifying material in the peripheral part of a broken part of a storage facility. SOLUTION: The water shielding structure 21 for storage facilities is constructed by excavating a place between hills to form a recessed part 2 to be a space for landfilling with municipal refuse and industrial wastes, laying a double water-shielding sheet 4 in the bottom face 3 of the recessed part 2, and covering the sheet with a protection mat 22. The protection mat 22 has a double layer structure composed of a permeable layer 23 in the lower layer side and an impermeable layer 24 in the upper layer side. The impermeable layer 24 is formed using, for example, non-woven fabrics so as to prevent elution of a hardening material and leakage of wastes, which are stored matters. On the other hand, the permeable layer 23 is formed by producing mesh sheets from, for example, a plastic material such as polypropylene resin, a polyethylene resin and the like, and layering the sheets in several layers based on necessity so as to suppress the compression degree to a slight level even if a heavy load owing to wastes is applied to and prevent crushing of the porous structure to be filled with the hardening material.
