    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce vibration input by connecting inner concrete body of reactor building and a proper location of reactor containment so as to be able to relatively displace by way of vibration absorption member such as spring. SOLUTION: Surrounding a reactor vessel 12, a primary shield wall 16 and a secondary shield wall 18 are stood and a steam generator 14 is supported by the secondary shield wall 18. On the outer surface of the secondary shield wall 18, a plurality steps of shelf parts 18a to 18d are formed. Surrounding the secondary shield wall 18, a reactor containment 20 is constructed. The primary shield wall 16 and the secondary shield wall 18 and the reactor containment 20 are constructed independently on a common foundation 22. In the gap δbetween the shelf part 18b at the second step from the bottom of the second shield wall 18 and the reactor containment 20, a vibration absorber member 28 is arranged. Putting the vibration absorber member 28 in between, the primary shield wall 16 and the secondary shield wall 18 and the reactor containment 20 are connected to each other.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease the amt. of reinforcing steel and to reduce thickness by integrally constituting building such as outer peripheral building, fuel handling building and outside shielding building and discretely and separately constituting the foundation of these buildings and the foundation of a reactor container. CONSTITUTION:A foundation plate 7 which supports the weight of the steel container 3 and the inside of the container is provided right under the container 3. The foundation plate 7a-7a for the buildings 8 such as outside shielding building 4, outer peripheral building 5 and fuel handling building 6 is the independent and discrete foundation discontinuous from the foundation plate 7 of the steel container 3 and is formed fairly thin. The building 4 covers the container 3 apart at 1m therewith. The outside shielding building 4 and the outer peripheral building 5 as well as the fuel handling building 6, etc., are integrally constituted and all the buildings are constituted slightly apart from the container 3. The buildings 8 and the container 3 are, therefore structurally completely separated. Since the length on one side of the foundation plate is shortened in this way, the stress received by the foundation is decreased and the amt. of the reinforcing steel is decreased. In addition, the reduction of the thickness is possible.
