    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a pile head from being broken by bending moment caused by an earthquake by laminating a plurality of circular elastic plates on a pile head so as to be gradually smaller in diameter, and p-lacing a foundation of an upper structure on the top end of the circular elastic plate in the uppermost layer. SOLUTION: A plurality of circular elastic plates 3a-3d are laminated on the head of a pile 1, that is, a pile head 5, so as to be gradually smaller in diameter, and a foundation 4 of an upper structure is placed on the top end of the circular elastic plate 3d in the uppermost layer. A joint state between the foundation 4 of the upper structure and the pile head 5 is therefore made a state of pin joint or a state regardable substantially as a pin joint. When horizontal force caused by an earthquake or wind acts from the upper structure, no bending moment or only slight bending moment is generated to the pile head 5. The damage of the pile head 5 caused by bending moment is therefore prevented in advance.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a low floor by providing base plates on sliding plates, which are fixed to the floor surface in the lengthwise and the crosswise with a space, freely to be slid, and containing four corners with a coil spring, and while providing base plate connecting members in both sides of the coil spring in parallel with each other. SOLUTION: A large beam 26 and a small beam 30 as connecting members for connecting both base plates 22 to each other are arranged in both sides of each coil spring along the extension direction thereof so as to form a pair in parallel with each other. At this stage, since both the base plates 22 are connected by two lines of the large beams 26, cross section of the beam is remarkably reduced in comparison with the case of connection in one line, and height of the large beam 26 is lowered. At the time of earthquake, the base plate 22 is slid in relation to a sliding plate 20, and while the vibration of the base plate 22 and the vibration of a floor panel 36 provided on the base plate 22 is damped by the tension of each spring. Furthermore, distortion of the panel 36 due to the lateral movement is concentrated to a peripheral part of a room close to a wall surface 38, but this distortion is absorbed by a buffer material 44. Height of the connecting member can be thereby reduced, and height of the floor is reduced, and a building, of which floor height is formed low, can be constructed.

SOLUTION: Plural circular elastic plates 23a-23d with the substantially same diameters are stacked on a pile head 5, and a foundation 4 of an upper structure is placed on the top end of the uppermost layer circular elastic plate 23d. The circular elastic plate 23a is formed by fan-shaped split elements 24a, 25a, 26a, 27a obtained by radially dividing the circular elastic plate into four parts, and the other circular elastic plates 23b-23d are also similarly formed using hard rubber having base isolation property. The foundation 4, the circular elastic plate 23d, the circular elastic plates 23a-23d and the pile head 5 are mutually connected to support the horizontal force from the upper structure. When the horizontal force at the right-hand bottom is received, compressive force is concentrated on the split elements 25a-25d on the compression side, and enough deformation amount can be secured by sideway expansion. Thus, the bending moment of the pile head 5 becomes a little so as to prevent breakage.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the constitution of a pull-out preventive device and prevent the pull-out preventive device from having an influence on the behavior of a base isolation device by using a coned disc spring having a constant load range where load variation against extension and contraction displacement of the spring is slight, thereby making a pull-out resistance constant and adding a prestress in between a foundation and an objective body for base isolation. SOLUTION: An objective body 12 for base isolation is supported on a foundation 1 through a base isolation device 14. A pull-out preventive device 22 resisting against a pull-out force acting on the base isolation device 14 is installed between a foundation 10 and the objective body 12. The pull-out preventive device 22 is constituted of a connection member 24 in which a vertical displacement between the foundation 10 and the objective body 12 is input and a coned disc spring 26 interposed in a displacement transfer pass between the connection member 24 and the foundation 10 or the objective body 12. A prestress resisting against a pull-out force is added between the foundation 10 and the objective body 12 within a constant load range R where load variation against the extension and contraction quality of the coned disc spring 26 is slight.
